Abstract.Inthe process of global economy developmentand competition, how to strengthen the cooperation of enterprises in the supplychain environment plays a very important role tothe successof enterprises. As well known, the IT technology is one of the quite essential factorstoprovidequickerand moreaccurate information for the enterprises,and thereforeenhance the enterprises’ operation efficiency. In order to adapt to thesupply chain(SC)environment and supportforother enterprises’ commondevelopment in SC, we haveto develop more powerful and unified IT technology.
What iselaboratedin thispaper is the framework of the information cooperation system which is SCoriented. It does not denyor overthrow thelegacyapplicationsof enterprises, but toput forward a framework basedon the oldapplications inSC. It also unifies the WebService and referencesthe principlesof VPN. We call it theframework of Virtual Private Supply Chain Management (VPSCM). The principle, the model and the useof VPSCM as well as someother related issues are going to be explainedin this paper.
