Abstract :In this paper, based on taking into account manufacturing/remanufacturing logistics system partition, location and transportation issues, as well as the scale economic effect of transportation and facilities construction costs, the two-phase models are presented. According to the model, the number of various facilities, the client partition, the location program, the logistics distribution and transport path of distribution and recycling could be decided upon, so as to maximize the net revenue over the operation period. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the above models and methods.

1. INTRODUCTION
Resources and energy is relatively scarce today, and the advantages of remanufacturing are highlighted. From the angle of logistics, remanufacturing includes reverse logistics that carry waste products back from consumer to factory, as well as forward logistics that remanufactured products are shipped from factory to consumption. In recent years, the reverse logistics network optimization design problem provoke attention from scholars both at home and abroad [1,2], however, relative research is weak[3~6].
MA Zujun, DAI Ying[7]haveanalyzed the integration issues of location and logistics distribution in the manufacturing/ remanufacturing logistics system, but doesn’t consider the client partition and the optimization of transport path of distribution and recycling. In this paper, a preliminary exploration has been carried out aiming at these two issues to be resolved. Moreover, the model of the past often assumed unit product cost of transportation in direct proportion to the distance; this paper will rationalize the assumption. Based on considering manufacturing/ remanufacturing logistics system partition, location and transportation issues, as well as the scale economic effect of transportation and facilities construction costs, the two-phase models are presented. Finally, an example is given to illuminate the model solving process.
In the manufacturing / remanufacturing logistics system, we assume:
(i) The factory not only produce new products but also remanufacture waste products, and their unit production operating costs are different, but the two products meet the market demand through the distribution center (or the integrated distribution/recycling center, which issimplyrecorded as the integrated center below). The two products’unit distribution operating cost issame and the two products’ unit price issametoo.
(ii) Product demand and waste products quantity are known. Recycling of waste products were shipped to the recycling center (or the integrated center), and their re-manufacturing rates are known.
(iii)Only consider location of distribution centers, recycling centers and integrated centers in some alternative places. Their geographical location, treatment capacity and the unit operating cost are known.
