Abstract:This text firstly analyses the influencefactors of logistics park clustering effect. There are five main factors affectthe clustering effect of logistics park, such as: entrepreneurial factors, environmentalfactors, market factors, infrastructure factors and government factors. It seemsto me that entrepreneurial factors is the dominant factor to form the clusteringeffect of logistics park. Next, this text analyses the clustering effect oflogistics park. Finally, this text constructs a decision-making model of thelogistics company entering the logistics park using the “rational people”hypothesis. On this basis, this text offers important measures to promote theformation of logistics park clustering effect.

Ⅰ.Introduction

Industrial cluster theory has been developed maturelyfrom Marshallbrought forward the theory in the book “Economics” in 1980. Thereinto Porter's diamondmodel (1998) is the representative point of view. Porter explained thephenomenon of industrial clustering through representing the formation ofcompetitive advantage of national industries. Lately there are also many Chinesescholars starting to study the development of logistics park from theperspective of industrial clustering. But these studies most described somecharacters of logistics park industrial clusters in an intuitive using theregional economics and other related theories. They ignored the restrictiveconditions of logistics park clustering effect and the determinants of logisticsenterprises entering the logistics park. This text constructs a decision-makingmodel of the logistics company entering the logistics park using the “rationalpeople” hypothesis.

Ⅱ.Analyses of the influencefactors of logistics park clustering effect

According to the general concept of industrialclustering, logistics industrial clustering is a process that a number oflogistics services provision enterprises associated with manufacturing anddistribution companies get together in space with high-density in a particularregion. Likewise, logistics industrial concentration is the ultimate product ofthe logistics industrial cluster. Thereby it will form the logistics park whichhas a strong and sustainable competitive advantage in a region. The figure 1describes the influence factors of logistics park clustering effect.
