Abstract: Forthe key issues involved in the construction of logistics information system of flexiblemanufacturing enterprises (shortened as FME), this paper puts forward the corresponding solution.First of all, through the comparative analysis between the C/S and B/S, theauthors hold that adopting B/S three-tier architecture is able to integrateservice management and unify services to the client, thus, the system will havea good fault tolerance and load balancing ability, which are the priority toestablish the logistics information system in the flexible productionenterprises. Secondly, the authors believe that in relation to EDI, adoptingWeb Services as a system to build a platform is able to guarantee theachievement of the dynamic links through a series of standards and protocols andtransferring with each other between the different systems through the “software -software dialogue”approach even at lower cost. Finally, in order to solvethe problem of information sharing, the levels of information sharing are identified;also, information sharing authorities and the information sharing models aredesigned.

1 Introduction
Withthe rapid development of information technology, the continuous progress of theeconomic globalization and the improvement of people's living standard,commodity becomes more personalized and diversified. This has resulted in anincreasingly shorter life cycle of products,and companies aregenerally facing the contradictions between a large number of production modeand the needs of the fast changing diversified market. In order to solve thesecontradictions and improve the quick response and competitiveness of themarket, more and more enterprises have to adopt modern science and technologyand change their production methods, among which the flexible production is oneof the foremost options. The so-calledflexibility in manufacturing is an advanced production mode based on customerorders and forecasting production of market demand, which can greatly reduceproduction costs, shorten production cycle, optimize equipment utilization andstaff productivity, enhance product quality, meet customer needs better andimprove flexibility and adaptability of enterprises. The practice of domesticand foreign enterprises has fully proved that whether flexible production iseffectively implemented or not, it depends on the efficient logisticsinformation system that enterprises build up, because the logistics informationsystem serves as a central nerve which connects suppliers, manufacturers,distributors, logistics service providers and customers. The speed oftransferring and sharing logistics information can directly determine theresponsiveness of business to market demands. Therefore,tobuild up the logistics information system that suits the flexible manufacturingcharacteristics and requirements is the key measure of effective implementationof manufacturing flexibility. Based on the features of flexible manufacturing,this paper explores the option of system construction, the system constructionplatform and information sharing implementation in the process of theinformation system construction.
