Abstract: Ecological logistics is an inevitable trend of logistics developmentin iron and steel enterprises, is also an objective demand to conform toenvironmental protection worldwide and to promote economic globalization. Ironand steel enterprises should develop effective use of resources and environmentprotection prior to all, strengthen establishment and implementation of ecologicallogistics system, realize sustainable development and integrate economicbenefit, social benefit with ecological benefit together. Implementationchannels of ecological logistics in iron and steel enterprises are composed offormulation of strategic planning, technological revamping and innovation,reverse logistics, low carbon logistics and digital logistics, etc. Relativesystems and measures on micro and macro perspectives should be established andimproved to push ahead the development of ecological logistics in iron andsteel enterprises.

1. Preface
Logistics hasbecome the third resource of profits along with the acceleration of industrializationprogress and economy sustainable and rapid growth in economy. Meanwhilenegative impacts of logistics can’t be neglected due to noise, atmosphericpollution, traffic jams causing by logistics mechanization and automation andextensive use of fuel type equipments. In the background of industrialization,traditional logistics operation method was a severe test to sustainabledevelopment. Logistics and sustainable development have gradually beenconcerned by the people [1-2]. A more harmonious logistics patternis needed to improve sustainable development and prompt the cooperativedevelopment between enterprises and ecology, economy and society.
At present, there are anumber of documents on researching ecological construction of logistics systemat home and overseas. For example, Xu Xinqing and Cui Huibao thought thatnegative impacts on environment caused by the modern logistic behaviors hasalready threatened the daily life of the people, and addressed that modernlogistics should be considered from ecological system, effective incentive andconstraints system should be established to promote the development ofecological logistics system[5]. Xu Zhiyan and Ji Jianhua haveresearched ecological features of logistics system and construction of urbanecological logistics system [4].
