Abstract—Distribution center location is reasonable or not has a directimpact on a corporation’s logistics costs, which will further affect thedevelopment of the corporation. To supermarket chains, reasonable distributioncenters addresses can reduce costs and enhance the competitiveness; what’smore, it has a great influence on the development of the corporation. On thebasis of fully awareness of the significance of distribution center location,this paper analyzes distribution center location problems of supermarketchains. And different types of supermarket chains can choose different methodsto decide the location of distribution center according to the corporations’situations to achieve business goals.

Distributioncenter location is reasonable or not has a direct impact on the futuredevelopment of chain retail. The reasonable of location selection will affectthe development of the corporation. Nowadays, how to selecting the bestdistribution center is very important. There are four principles for company to selectthe better site: adaptability principles, coordination principles, economicprinciples and strategic principles.
