Abstract:  Whenmanufacturing is the main economic activities in an industry, changes inproduction patterns pose a challenge to the logistics system, forcingmanufacturers to optimize the logistics system. To address the manufacturingstatus and problems of logistics management analysis, this article constructs athree-level logistic model based on a lean manufacturing logistics optimizationsystem, then proposes specific strategies for optimizing manufacturinglogistics system.

1. Introduction
Since the founding of New China, China'smanufacturing industry has made great achievements, laying a solid foundationfor nationwide industrialization and modernization. Today, China's manufacturing industry has developeda large-scale and highly technical industrial system with a wide range ofproduction categories. With the rapid development of China's manufacturing industry, themanufacturing sector continues its rapid logistical growth, become the largestportion of total social logistics. In 2009, industrial logistics amounted to 87.41trillion Chinese Yuan (an annual increase of 9.4%), accounting for 90.4% of thetotal social logistics that year, an increase of 1.7% compared to the previous year.Manufacturing is the main industry in China’s economy, and manufacturinglogistics is the foundation and a strong driving force of industry.

In responseto globalization and China's own rapid development, China'smanufacturing enterprises have been restructuring to a make-to-order (MTO) productionsystem to increase their competitiveness and to better meet customer demand.These changes in production patterns pose a challenge to the logistics system,forcing optimization.
