Abstract: The lack of logistics demand and the inefficient logistics operation ofthe society have become the main problem which constrains the development of Chinalogistics, at the same time; the development of the logistics directly affectsthe national economy. Through the correlation analysis of logistics demandfactor and national economy, the link will be obvious, thereby developingsuggestions will be proposed.

March 10, 2009, the State Councilissued "the logistics industry restructuring and revitalization plan"(G.F. [2008] No.8), consider that the international financial crisis created agreat impact on the real economy in China, as an important serviceindustry, the logistics has also been affected severely. The document pgointedout that the most prominent problems of China’s logistics industry are: First,the inefficiency of the social logistics operation, total logistics costs toGDP ratio of 1 times higher than in developed countries; Second, lack ofsocialization logistics demand, while deficiency of specialized logisticssupply capacity, the operation mode of “big and complete”, “small and complete”are very common. Plan proposed that make actively expanding the logisticsmarket demand as the main task, this paper,through the correlation analysis of logistics demandfactor and national economy, the link will be obvious, thereby developingsuggestions will be proposed.

1Logistics demand factor in the literature

Demand factor is knowledge frommicro-economics; a method used for demand forecasting, through analysis andprediction of the regularity of the affecting factors, to describe the extentof future demand, the demand factor is the presentation of the predicted demandfactor.
