Abstract: Aiming at the complex fuzzy relations in supplier evaluation, and under the conditions that the weights of the evaluation indicators are given, a decision model is proposed based onInterval-valuedintuitionistic fuzzy relations. It discusses the methods of aggregating operators after a deeply study on the Interval-valuedintuitionistic fuzzy relations, defines the score function and accuracy function of Interval-valuedintuitionistic fuzzy number, and elaboratesthe algorithm of proposed approach in detail. Finally, the practical applicationof the model is verified through analyzing instances. The result indicates that this model can be widely applied to practice.
1. INTRODUCTION
Economicdevelopment, globalization and integration, creating a highly interconnectedsupply chain network, the network mode of operation similar ecosystems, with ahigh degree of interdependence.Supply chain is comprised of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors,retailers and end customers, and there is inherently relevant between them.According to research results provided by Steven E. Leahy et al., Currently, assessing enterprise on the supply chain usually willconsider customer service, cost savings and cooperative relations these threeaspects [1].Suppliers are important supply chain members, and its delivery,product quality, lead time, inventory levels, product design and other aspectsimpact the success of the supply chain. Moreover, the raw materials prices andquality provided by the suppliers determine the final consume goods prices, quality, market competitiveness, market share and marketviability. And it will affect the core competitiveness of the supply chain [2]. Effectively evaluating and selecting the suppliers is theimportant issue that the enterprises are facing.
Scholars have developed a number of methods on theselection and evaluation of suppliers. Such as Linear weighting method [3], Positive conceptmethod [4], Multi-objectiveprogramming model [5],fuzzysets Integrating Predictionmodel [6], Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model [7,8],Triangular FuzzyNumbers Evaluation Model[9]etc. Thesemethods have their characteristics and advantages, but there are some deficienciesalso.As things’ complexity and people’sexpertise, experience and other limitations, the supplier assessmentinformation given by experts is always fuzzy. And Interval-valuedintuitionisticfuzzy relations as a traditional expansion anddevelopment of fuzzy relations,which canmore exquisite depicts the fuzziness nature of the objective world[10].
