Abstract—The reverse supply chain is moreand more concerned about because of the improvement of the environmentalquality. LCA is a quantitative evaluation method of the environmental effect ofa reverse supply chain. The evaluation result can be used as an objectivereference in the productive design and recycling disposal and at the same timereduce the negative influence on environment so that it can facilitate theprotection of the environment and the establishment of a green supply chain. This article, using the method of case study, focuses on the analysis of thereverse supply chain of the waste lead acid batteries (material recycling)and direct disposal(landfill).Through theanalysis of evaluation method of the life cycle, this paper comes to a moreenvironmentally friendly dealing method of the end of life. After an analysisof the different environmental influence in different phases, this paper findsout the main activities that exert a negative influence on environment andprovides a direction for the improvement of the environment benefits of thereverse supply chain of the lead acid batteries.

1. Introduction
Reversesupply chain is a series of activities that involves the return of products, alternative materials, reusing of the goods, waste disposal, and furtherprocessing, maintenance and re-manufacturing. With the depletion of naturalresources, environmental pollution gradually increased, reverse supply chaingains more and more attention to the enterprises. It can not only bring economicbenefits to the enterprises, but also to improve the influence the supply chainactivities exert on the environment. Through the environmental impactassessment, an evaluation of the improvement of the environmental effect of thereverse supply chain can be realized. The results of the evaluation can providean objective basis for the production design, network design and other aspectsof the disposal and recycling decision-making and at the same time reduce thenegative influence on environment so that it can facilitate the protection ofthe environment and the construction of a green supply chain.
Product Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has become awidely recognized international environmental impact assessment method.
