Abstract: In this paper, the problem of virtual logistics resource organizationand retrieval is expounded and solved by using P2P. The paper has broughtforward a distributed virtual logistics resource organization framework basedon P2P, constructed a network model of virtual logistics resource organization basedon an improved chord, and presented the network construction method, the nodedynamic management method, and the logistics resource registration andretrieval method in the network. The research provides a new mode ofestablishing the network of the virtual logistics system, which meets the requirement, such as dynamics,distribution, autonomy, extendibility, highly reliability on virtual logisticsresource organization and the availability of searching for logistics resource.

1. Introduction
The purpose of virtual logistics is to make thelogistics resource share and optimaldeploy among logistics enterprises byusing the computer network technology and modern communication technology etc,and to solve the problem that one logistics organization can not have all thecore competences to answer logistic demand in time when a market opportunityappears.Apparently, the computer network is the essential approach to make thedistributed and heterogeneoussocial logistics resourcebe organized, integrated and utilized validly[1,2]. However, whatkind of network mode is adapted well to construct the virtual logisticsnetwork? How to make the virtuallogistics resource retrieval more efficientin the whole virtual logisticsnetwork? All of the above are the key problems in the process of virtuallogistics resource organization. The P2P is a kind of non-centralizednetwork, and it has the native advantages[3], such as autonomy, extendibility, realtime, anonymity, reliability, fault tolerant redundant and load balancing, which are consistentwith the requirement of thevirtual logistics resource organization, such as dynamics, distribution, autonomy,extendibility, highly reliability etc. So, in the paper, we attempt to studythe distributed organization and retrieval of virtual logistics resource byusing the P2P technology.
